AMTRYKE RECIPIENT: Ronald Hixon

Mr. Hixon, a decorated veteran diagnosed with cancer and suffering from arthritis and macular degeneration received his Amtryke, generously sponsored by Veterans of Foreign Wars, VFW Post 2466, Lubbock, Tx. Mr. Hixon has had several knee replacements and is looking forward to strengthening his legs. The Amtryke has been adapted to allow him to increase muscular strength and improve coordination while being able to socialize with family and friends outdoors. The smile on his face just warms our hearts!
