meet our members

On June 26th, 2023, after visiting just one luncheon meeting, Kelly Lindner, who was Lisa Dolezal's guest, decided to jump right in and stated she was "ready to become a member of the Lubbock Monterey AMBUCS." Kelly loves the mission...altruism is her main avocation, she just spent almost six years being the Executive Director for a hospital district’s foundation in South Central Texas. She thinks everyone in the club is lovely, too!

Kelly is responsible for all marketing and communications for Cornerstone Caregiving. In addition, she works closely with the VA to assist veterans and others in living in their home, offering respite care and other normal daily activities.

An interesting fact about Kelly is she grew up in Washington, D.C. Kelly and her husband, James Hamilton, married in 2003 and they have one daughter Ruby J. Hamilton. Another part of their family are their two dogs Sweetie and Riley, and one cat, Cheez. Kelly, a ten-gallon blood, platelet, and plasma donor, urges everyone who can, to donate. Kelly took a trip by herself to Australia, many years ago, and loves to travel. In the past year alone, she’s been to Warsaw and Southern Poland; Paris, France; Maui, Hawaii; London, England; Vienna, Austria, Denver and Durango, Colorado; Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Boston and Cape Cod, Massachusetts; Prague, Czech Republic; Santa Fe, New Mexico; Glasgow and Edinburgh, Scotland.

When it comes to her goal, Kelly said, “to survive the heat!!” Many of the members may be thinking the same thing, as during this time, the temperatures are hovering 103-108 degrees.

We are so grateful to have Kelly Lindner as a Member of our Monterey AMBUCS Team, and whether you're a long-time Lubbock resident or a newcomer, if you too would like to learn more about our mission and see about joining our Team, just JOIN US at one of our regular Monday lunches at the McKenzie/Merket Alumni Center on the Tech Campus. You'll be glad you did!
